So I feel like our holidays were packed with lots of family time this year and we were plenty busy.. I did manage to get a few pictures but I always wish I had more! It was strange for me this year when spending time with my family. So much has changed this year. My parents divorce which still isn't final and I haven't seen my dad since October so that was really weird. My little sis is pregnant and engaged. I am very happy that she is happy but it still blows my mind! Being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and not being pregnant made for an emotional holiday as well.. But besides all the struggles we have been through this year I am incredibly grateful and my heart is so full with love. My testimony has grown more this year than it EVER has and I am grateful for our families and for the support that we have through friends as well. I am a firm believer in the saying "what doesn't kill you will make you stronger!" Going through any kind of trial is hard but I am so thankful that I have learned from my mistakes and from the bad things. Coleman and I are happier than we have ever been!! Our love grows more and more each day. We have a beautiful spirited 22 month old and she brings so much happiness into our world! This has been a hard year but we have had a wonderful year at the same time!! Soon we will have two new nephews and my best friend is having a boy too!! We are surrounded by love and we hope that we can share our love with so many more this year!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and I hope you all make the best of 2012!!

Okay so let me explain the headband. When we went to Colemans work the day before Christmas Eve one of his co-workers gave paige this awesome headband!! I thought it was hilarious so I had her wear it long enough for pictures and then she wore a flower because she wouldn't keep the headband on long enough!

Day 21,22,23

Oh my goodness I am seriously slacking on the posting. So I guess in order to catch up I will post a few things I am thankful for.

I am thankful for the support team that I have that helps me when I am down. I know I can always count on the most important people in my life to be there for me.

Even though it gets dark so much earlier now since it's winter, I am thankful that we still have sunlight! Winter can be so dreadful, boring and depressing but a little sunlight is better than nothing. I am thankful to be able to open my blinds in the morning and let in the natural light from outside!! It brightens my mood and my home!!

Today I am thankful for patience. I have been praying to have more patience lately. When you have a 20 month old that is teething and you have gotten rid of the binkie it becomes difficult to listen to whining all day long. But with the help of my Heavenly Father I feel like I have been more relaxed lately when Paige acts out and that I have been able to handle the situation better. Not that I handled it badly before but I would get really frustrated. I know that she is a 20 month old that is going to do what she wants and that the way I handle the situation sets the tone for the rest of the day and is a learning experience for the both of us. So I am thankful for patience and I hope that I can keep working on it with help from my Heavenly Father.

Day 20

Yesterday I was pretty sick. I have bad problems with my joints which we think is arthritis and I think I had the stomach flu too. I am so lucky to have been sick on the weekend when Coleman was around to help take care of Paige so I could rest. It was such a long day and he took very good care of me. He is so great to me and Paige loves her daddy so much she was fine that I wasn't really around. Paige and I took a 3 hour nap together!! I am feeling a lot better today thanks to the rest the I was able to get yesterday. I am thankful that Coleman is such a great husband to take care of me even when I look like "walking death" :) I love you coleman!

So I have been slacking a little on posting about being thankful.

I am very very thankful for my in laws. All of them. I have the greatest mother in law and father in law. They would do anything to help us out and they are always there for us. I feel like I fit into Coleman's family pretty well and I am so thankful that I get along well with everyone. I am thankful for all four of my sisters in law. They are all amazing!! We all have a lot of fun together and I am also grateful for my brothers in law they are awesome! I was very lucky to gain such a great family when I married Coleman !! I love them all so much and I can't imagine life any other way!

Day 18 - Prayer

I have always been pretty good about praying but until the last month I have never realized how much a prayer does for me or how much it means to me. I find comfort in knowing that when I pray my Heavenly Father hears me and he comforts me when I am sad and he rejoices with me when I am happy. I am grateful for the relationship I have with my Heavenly Father because of prayer. I am grateful for famiy prayer everynight and for being able to teach Paige about the church. I saw a quote recently that really made me think, it said something along the lines of " What if the only things you had today were the things you prayed for yesterday." It made me so hapy to know that I would have everything that I need most in life. I would have Coleman and Paige, my home, our families and friends, the gospel, good health and Coleman's job. I am grateful for my personal prayers and for making each time I pray count. I am especially grateful for my relationship with my Heavenly Father and being able to feel his love every day.

I am thankful for the people in my life that keep me thinking positive. Even on days that are crappy I know that I can call up the hubby and complain and he will give me a different way to look at it. It's funny to me how even when i'm feeling low and just down right ticked off if I try to think positive and have a good attitude the crappy stuff doesn't seem near as bad. So I am thankful for positive thinking!

Today I am thankful for technology. Cell phones drive me crazy most of the time but I am grateful to have them because they help me keep in contact with my family and friends. I am grateful that when I am feeling lousy or I really need to get something done I can turn on Monsters Inc. and Paige is occupied... that makes me sound like a really bad mom. : ( But I am still thankful for it, I can't deny it.

Yesterday I was feeling pretty yucky. I was so thankful yesterday that Paige took a nap and I was also thankful that she would occupy herself by playing with her toys while I layed on the couch and watched her. She is such a sweetie pie and even though she tests my patience on many occasions I am so grateful for the sweet little thing that she is!!

I am so thankful for my husband! He is so amazing and really cares about me and Paige! He came to my doctors appointment because he cares about me and I can't imagine my life without him and I hope I never have to! I am grateful for our relationship and even though we go through our hard times there are many more good times that are amazing. I love that we can joke around with each other and have fun together. On days when I am feeling awful and all I can do is complain he listens to me and tries to help with whatever he can. He is such a great provider for our family. I look forward to expanding our family and building many more great memories with my amazing hubby!!!

I love Sundays. I get to spend the whole day with my amazing hubby and cute little onry girl ;). I really love going to church even more now that we take Paige to nursery. She loves going and playing with the other kids and I enjoy getting to pay attention to the lesson it Sunday school and Relief Society. Today I am grateful for the sisters in my ward that are so sweet. I can relate to so many of their situations as they can relate to mine and it's nice knowing that they are always there and even if you don't talk to them or know many of them there is still a comfort in knowing you belong to such a great group of women. I love the gospel and how it blesses my life. I can't imagine living without it.

I don't know about any of you but I find that going to a hair appointment is actually quite therapeutic! I am so glad that one of my best friends does my hair because I enjoy going to visit with her so much!! And she always does such an amazing job!!! In this crazy world of being constantly on the go I don't realize how much "ME" time I actually need to keep me sane! Today it was long long long overdue!! I am thankful that my stylist is also my therapist!! And I am grateful that she is so fun to talk to and also so wise and gives great advice and a great outlook on the rest of the world!! So today I am thankful for therapeutic hair appointments :)

Yesterday I was grateful that I had the opportunity to go to my little sister's baby doctor appointment to find out the gender of the baby. It was a long day that seemed to drag on and I am thankful for the help of my Heavenly Father for helping me prepare emotionally for the appointment. I was so happy that my sister wanted me there and I am glad I was there to support her. Oh and by the way it's a boy... We are going to have another nephew!

Today I am feeling especially grateful for my best friend! Seriously she listens to me complain, whine, laugh cry and she is there for me all the time! I text her all day long about everything! And she has been there for me a lot recently. We have little girls that are best friends too and that makes it all the more fun for us! I am thankful that she is so understanding and smart!! She really is a friend for life and I know I can always count on her to be there for me! Love her!

Yesterday I was thankful for being able to cry it all out when your frustrated and sad.. Maybe it's just me but sometimes I feel so much better after I have cried and let it all out and then I can get back to normal life. Somehow my tears make me stronger and being able to lean on the greatest hubby ever helps a lot too. When I am sad I always try to remember that if we didn't have the hard sad days we wouldn't be able to enjoy the FABULOUS days. So here is to everyone having a FABULOUS day.. Because you deserve it!

Today I am thankful that by hubby has a good job so that I can stay home and raise Paige. I am thankful that he is willing to work so hard to provide for our family. I think sometimes when our jobs get tough and we are having a bad day we just need to take a step back and take a look at the big picture. Today Paige woke up so early and she hasn't wanted to nap.. I have felt crummy today with every joint in my body hurting with every move I make and yet I am still thankful. Sometimes it's easier for me to express my frustration rather than my gratitude but when it comes down to it I am so blessed to have crummy days because it makes me appreicate the days that go smoothly even more.

Yesterday I was a slacker and didn't blog but I know today that yesterday I was very thankful for the gospel. We went to church and I had been feeling kinda down all morning and it's amazing to me how the spirit can lift you up and really manifest to you even when you are feeling so low. I love feeling the spirit and I really love being able to attend Relief Society. I am very thankful to be apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Today I am thanful for date night with the hubby. We don't get to go out together alone much but when we do it's so nice. I love him so much and our relationship now is better than it has ever been!! Today I am thankful for the trials that I have been given that have brought me and my family to where we are today.. I am thankful for the obstacles I have had to go through to help me become a better wife and mom. I know that I am given trials as a learning experience. My most recent trial was a big one and it was the hardest thing I have ever been through before. I know that my heavenly father gave me this trial to learn more about myself. It's hard to admit that sometimes we lose touch with the closest people around us and sometimes our trials bring us closer together than ever. So today I am thankful for the person I am because of the trials I have been blessed with.

Halloween!

I love fall because it brings Halloween with it and then it means the holidays are coming and lots of family time! I hate fall because it means winter is on its way and boy do I HATE winter.. Ugh! Anyways I love dressing up for Halloween and getting Paige all dressed up too!! Everything is getting so fun with her getting older and more excited about things!!She loves kitty cats and she meows all the time :) So for Halloween this year we decided that is what she would be.. I couldn't bring myself to fork out 30 or more dollars on a kitty costume so I made one myself and I thought she looked SO CUTE!! I wore Coleman's baseball jersey and he wore his dirtbike jersey. That is about as good as it gets with the two of us :)

Paige had a lot of fun Trick or Treating even though it was freezing outside!! We had a good time at the my mom's ward trunk or treat and then we visited some grandparents. Paige loved getting so much candy!!

So today and I am thankful that the Holidays are on their way!! Now I am working on my Christmas shopping already and it's getting me so excited!! I love that the holidays brings so much family together.

Being Thankful

So I am going to blog each day in November about what I am thankful for. I think this is an amazing challenge and it really makes you appreciate what you have.. I challenge anyone else to join me in being thankful!!

Day 1: (yesterday)

I am thankful for the beautiful home that we have to live in. It shelters us from the weather outside. I love that as a family we get to make so many memories together here!!! I love our home and I am grateful that the spirit of the Lord is able to dwell here as well. I know that we are where we need to be at this time.

Day 2:

Today I am incredibly grateful for my good health. I know I have had some recent health problems that have come my way but I can still say that I am healthier than many people. I am thankful that I have a healthy mind and spirit and that I can play with my baby girl and enjoy so much time with her. I am grateful that I can keep up with my husband and our busy lives and that we get to do so much together!! We are so blessed that Paige is healthy and Coleman is as well.. All in all we are a happy healthy family..

Our trip to Washington

When I found out that Coleman was leaving for a week for work I decided to take a trip of my own!! Sara came along and we packed up the tahoe and Paige of course :) and we drove to Walla Walla, Washington to see Zach, Nikky and Declan!! I am so glad we had the guts to make this trip by ourselves because we really had a lot of fun and we miss them so much!! I hate having them live so far away but at least 9 hours to Washington isn't as bad as them living in Memphis so that is a plus!! Paige and Declan miss each other a lot too!! They have learned to play really well together (for the most part) They had a ton of fun playing on aunt SaSa's (Sara's) air mattress!! It was one of their favorite toys!! We had such a great time and hopefully we will get to see them again soon!!! We miss them way too much!!

Okay I am pretty behind on blogging so I am trying to catch up!! The first or second week of July Lyndsi and I took the girls to Rexburg Rapids for the first time!! They both loved it and we had a lot of fun!! We took them again last week and it wasn't as warm and the girls were both crying and freezing!! They had goosebumps all over their cute little bodies!! Hopefully the next time we take them they will enjoy it more!!!

Every two years my Grandma Linda's side of the family has a family reunion and it is always something I look forward to so much! I love getting together with all the cousins. Coleman's surgery

Coleman had surgery the end of June to have his Ulnar nerve relocated so that he could begin building up the strenth and feeling back in his hand. It was a pretty crazy surgery but everything went really well. Cole had a hard time coming out of anesthesia and he was really sick from all of the medicine. He had a rough week having bad side effects from the pain medication. When he was able to switch to ibuprofen he felt so much better.. Paige was sad that her daddy couldn't play with her or hold her for awhile. She always find a way to cuddle with him though. She sure loves her daddy. Coleman is slowly able to use his hand and arm again. He said he already has feeling in his fingers which is a huge plus!! I am so thankful for the doctors that fix us up and help us get back on with our lives!!

4th of July

I love love love the 4th of July!! It's definitely my favorite holiday!! Coleman, Paige and I got up early and met my family at Bubba's BBQ for breakfast.. Can you say TERRIBLE FOOD!! Anyways then we took Paige to the parade which was fun!! She was dancing to all the music and loved seeing the horses.. She was really good!! We went to Coleman's house and made us some sandwiches to take to our spot at the river and then all of us headed to our spot.. Part of the reason why I love the 4th of July so much is because I love being outside with our families. I love spending the whole day and night out at the greenbelt before the fireworks. We walked down by all the booths and the food and had some lunch and relaxed under the canopy most of the day just chatting and hanging out.. Paige actually took a nap in her stroller too and that NEVER happens!! She loved watching the fireworks but it was so far passed her bedtime she fell asleep 10 minutes into the show. I don't know how she can sleep through all of the noise!! All in all it was a great day. Now the count down begins until the next 4th of July!!!

Boating

Sooooo if you have ever been around me and talked to me about swimming, water, boating ect. you know that I hate it!!! :) I have always sworn that we would NEVER own a boat.. But sometimes things change. :) Nikky (my sister in law) has a step uncle i think he would be : / that was GIVING his boat away to Nikky's dad but he didn't want it so they offered it to us for FREE!!! Of course Coleman jumped on the idea very quickly and I was more hesitant!! The only condition was that we had to go to Vegas and pick it up ourselves. This offer came about the week that Cole and I were driving to Vegas with our friends, So it worked out great. The boat is in amazing condition and it runs beautifully!! It had hardly been used before we got it. We had to put new tires on the boat trailer to get it home but other than that it was an amazing deal!! We wanted to take Zach and Nikky on the boat before they moved to Washington. So we did and we all had a great time!! Needless to say the boat is going to be really fun and I will sit in the boat but NO tubing for me!!! And by the way Nikky I don't hate you for the boat idea :)

I love love doing things with our families and We all love being outside. We had a "campfire" in Cole's parents backyard in their firepit a few weeks ago and here are some fun pictures. It was raining but we still ate some delicious smore's and enjoyed each others company!! Definitely a fun night to remember.

Las Vegas - Part 2

Okay here are more pics. While we were at the Venetian waiting for the show we discovered that this hotel totally ROCKS!! They have gondala rides and Madame Tussauds House of Wax. And they have a store called Paige!!

Well I didn't get a picture of the 4 of us in our own gondola the very next day but we did go on a ride!! A little expensive but how often do you get to go on vacation right? It was pretty romantic! :)

After the Blue Man Group show we walked to the Hard Rock Cafe and had dinner.. I have never been to a Hard Rock cafe so that was sweet. We bought some shirts and took some pics.

I love the Bellagio. 1. because of the awesome fountain show that I love to watch 2. It's just really beautiful hotel and we discovered a beautiful inside too!!

This place was decorated so beautiful. I have been told that they change it with the season and the holiday.

Maddame Tusauds House of Wax is so cool. We met a lot of celebrities ; ) Whoopi Goldberg met us at the entrance along with Will Smith.

LAS VEGAS!!!

So Coleman and I along with our great friends Taylor and Lyndsi Morrow decided to plan a trip to get away for a few days.. We really wanted to go on a cruise or something extravagent but we didn't have the time nor the money for something like that. but Las Vegas isn't too far away and there is a lot to do there.. Plus Taylor had never been to Vegas before so we thought it would be fun!! We were going to take the cheap flights but we had the opportunity to pick up a free boat while we were in Vegas so we drove the truck so we could haul it back.. More on that story to come.. We booked our hotel rooms with a show package that saved us a lot of money!! Our hotel was nice it was supposed to have a 10 acre heated pool but it lied to me.. I was quite dissapointed about that but overall it was such a great trip!! I missed my baby girl so much!! I was having major withdrawls!! I made it threw the 4 days and being able to see her happy face when we pulled up was so worth the wait!! I love my baby!!!

So Mother's day was really great!! Coleman is such an amazing husband he bought me a beautiful hanging flower basket that i LOVE and we are deciding on which jogging stroller to get and that is my gift!! How amazing right? I bought Paige an adorable shirt that said "I love my mommy" I just couldn't resist!!She is too adorable! I am so lucky to be a mom and to also have wonderful mothers in my life!! I have been so blessed with amazing Grandma's, My mom and also my Mother in law!!They are all very amazing women and I hope some day to be as wonderful as they all are!! Being a mother is the greatest gift on earth!

Last week when we had a little bit of warm weather I wanted to take Paige to the river to feed the birds. Grandma Kristie and GGma Linda came with! It was so much fun and Paige really liked it, until the birds got very close and then she freaked out a little!! And to top it off we had some Reed's Dairy ice cream.. SO DELICIOUS!!

So for Coleman's birthday I bought us tickets to go to the Supercross in Utah! I was so excited to have a few days alone with Coleman and to take a little trip!! The one weekend we were able to get away and it was FREEZING!! We were not prepared for the weather like we should have been. We both had our jackets and I took a small blanket to sit on but we both ended up huddled underneath the blanket trying to stay warm while it was snowing!!We had great seats too!! Row 10! When they started the event and the main races they would blow fire out of the tubes next to the finish line and it felt so good to be warm for a second!! We were wishing they would be on the whole time!! Even though the weather was crazy it was SO MUCH FUN!! We had a good time together and the races were awesome! Here are a few pics!!

So for spring vacation My mom, Deejay, Karli, Paige and I packed up the car and decided to road trip to Yuma, Arizona to see our grandparents! I was so sad that Coleman couldn't come and he was pretty upset too. It was hard to leave him but we will have more vacations in the future with him. Anyways we had told my grandma that we weren't leaving until 5 am on Saturday April 2nd because we wanted to get an early start since we were driving all the way through in one trip. Well we tricked her an actually left the night before and drove through the night to suprise her. 2 of us stayed awake while the other 2 slept and then we would switch!! It worked pretty good but let me tell you it was a VERY long night! About a 15 hour drive to be exact. We arrived at grandma and grandpa's house at about 630 am and boy was grandma suprised!! We had told grandpa that we were coming early so he would be expecting it!! It was great to see the look on my grandma's face and it was so nice to see them!! We miss them so much when they leave for the winter! The weather was absolutely beautiful while we were there!! 80 degrees most of the week!! Here are a few pics!!Enjoy

He kept hiding them from Paige because we didn't want her to have any. Look who turned 1!!

I can’t believe our little girl is ONE!! It is so crazy!! She is the greatest blessing to our family and we love her so much!! We had a birthday party to celebrate her turning 1! It was a great turn out. We had Jimmy Johns sandwiches for lunch, opened her presents and then finished the party off with cupcakes!! Delicious! Paige had a lot of fun and was such a cute little birthday girl. Our theme was cupcakes and her shirt had a cute cupcake on it that said “I’m the birthday girl” She got a lot of really cute clothes and a bunch of fun toys too!! I think she liked the cupcake part the best though. She loves to smash her own food and boy did she have a good time with her very own cupcake!! She is such a sweetie! On Paige’s actual birthday we met Coleman at work and went to have some lunch at Geraldine’s. Then Paige and I went grocery shopping and met Grandma Kristie for some frozen yogurt. Paige and I went home and took a nap and when dad came home we had pizza for dinner (Paige’s favorite). She is so much fun. She learned that she can climb on things lately and so that is our newest adventure. I have caught her climbing onto a little bench that is in her bedroom and onto the futon in the office!! She is absolutely crazy!! On her birthday she decided to try something new and so she climbed into her toy box that we have in the living room!! I got her out once and she went right back to do it again so I grabbed the camera so I could document the crazy girl!!! I guess she just wanted to play in the toy box!! She is so funny!!

Surgery

Most of you probably know that for the past 2 years I have had horrible problems with my sinuses. I tried to be tough and just deal with it but it got to the point where I could never breathe through my nose and I had to get surgery to fix it or face permanent damage. So on the 2nd Coleman took me to the Idaho Falls surgical center at 6 am!! What a trooper!! We took Paige to Grandma Ann's the night before so that we didn't have to take her with us that early. She loves hanging with Grandma and Grandpa. So I had surgery at 715ish and we left around 11 am we finally left. It took me awhile to wake up from the anesthesia. I wasn't in too much pain but I was feeling a lot of pressure. Coleman was such a sweetie and took of a few days from work to take care of Paige and work from home. Luckily we had a lot of help with Paige from family and that helped a lot! I was feeling alright until Saturday after the surgery Paige hit me in the nose, HARD. It hurt so bad that I immediately had tears rolling down my face!!After that I was in a ton of pain!! Thankfully i had some good meds!! The doctor said that she didn't mess anything help, thank goodness. But he said that everything is healing well and I got back on Tuesday for another check up. I haven't had near the pain i thought i would from the surgery and I felt even better after I went to the doctors office.

It was super emotional for me after my post op check up and I had the packing taken out.. I got in the truck with Coleman and I took a deep breath in and I just started crying!!! It was the greatest feeling in the whole world!!! I could breathe!!!! I hadn't felt that good in such a long time and even though I was still in a little pain I was so happy!! The surgery has already had a huge impact on my life and I am so glad we made the decision to get it!! Thank you Cole!! I love you!!

On February 28 Cole and I had our 2 year anniversary. Over the weekend we left Paige with Grandma Kristie and Grandpa Paul and Cole and I went and had 90 min massages that were really amazing! After our massages we went to Applebees for dinner and it was delicious! We had such a fun weekend together and it was nice to spend some time alone. Even though I missed Paige like crazy! When we went to pick her up Paige was looking out the window and had the biggest smile on her face when she saw us walking up to the house! It was so good to see her!!

These have been the best two years of my life and I can't wait to spend many more with my wonderful husband!! I am so lucky to have him in my life and I am so grateful for all that he does to give Paige and I such a wonderful life!! I love you Coleman!

My birthday and new projects.

So my birthday was wonderful mainly because I finally had Coleman home for his trip. Paige and I missed him so much!! He came home the night before my birthday at about 1130. It was so great because Zach, Nikky, Declan and Hailey all came up from Utah. We really missed Hilary. Our day was good though. I feel a little strange posting this picture but I think it's really funny. My birthday is always the same weekend as the super bowl. Coleman had to go to Albertsons and sittin on the table when he walked in the door were a bunch of bottles of Bud Light and roses in them. Quite hilarious for a birthday present since I turned 21!!! So He gave it to me and I just died! At first I thought was a creative gift and then I thought what the heck!!! He is so funny I just love him. I also went to lunch with my family and had dinner and ice cream cake with Cole's family. It was a great birthday!! Cole took Paige and me to Utah last weekend to get away and so I could do a little shopping for my birthday. To be honest I didn't really buy anything except for 2 shirts. I would much rather buy clothes for Paige ;) so I did. hehe. We had a great time hanging out with Taylor, Lyndsi and Maecie. They are the Best!! Overall it was a great birthday!

Okay so a few weeks ago before my birthday Coleman had to go to Arizona for work. He only went for a week but it was LONG week for me and Paige. I decided that after I put Paige to sleep at night I would do some sewing. I am not great at sewing but I enjoy it when there is a project I am excited about. The more I sew the better I get! Well I have been working on this blanket for years!! Sadly this is true. I think I started it as a church project when I was a MiaMaid. I may have been in the Laurels but I can't remember. Anyways we only had time to get the fabric half way cut out. And I didn't have a sewing machine of my own in high school so the fabric just got put in a box and I rediscovered it when we moved and Cole gave me a sewing machine for Christmas one year. Well I worked on it as much as I could before I had Paige but I didn't get it finished and I just barely pulled it out again while Cole was on his trip. It felt so good to finish it and it is something I am very proud of! I also made a carseat cover for some friends that had a baby. It was a fun project too. It was so cute. Baseball fabric on top with navy blue fleece underneath! I hope they like it and I hope that it keeps their little guy warm!! Here are a few pics of my projects..

Brody's birthday was last week and I forgot to post the pictures from it. We all met at the Pizza Pie Cafe aka Craigo's and had some dinner and then went back to Ann and Lyndon's for some delicous chocolate cake that Sara made and some ice cream.For some random reason Brody decided that he liked getting his picture taken and he was very photogenic for the camera! Grandpa had his Ipad out watching/reading a Toy Story book and Paige was IN LOVE! She was so excited and had lots of fun sitting on Grandpa's lap listening to the book. Lately Paige has seemed to be getting older.. I know it sounds strange but she changes so much from day to day still. I love being able to stay home with her and watch all the new things she is learning.

Paige loves her dad so much! When he comes home from work her face just lights up. She is such a daddy's girl when she is happy but a total mommy's girl when she is sad.

She points at everything.
She loves to clap for herself when she thinks she does something awesome (which she does a lot!)
She loves her books she will open them and turn the pages, she babbles a lot when she is playing with her books almost like she is reading a little story to herself.
She loves her bath time in the morning and she loves to splash in the water!
She likes to push around her little walker car thing she pushes it faster than her legs can move with it so she falls a lot.
Paige is so smiley almost all of the time which makes it even more fun to be home with her all day.
Her 2nd tooth is finally just about to break through so she will finally have another one!
She likes to crawl up the stairs. It makes her think she is a really big girl!
Paige eats almost anything except for green vegetables or mixed vegetables and she eats a lot of mom and dads food too.

I just can't believe our little girl is 10 months old!! Time goes by way too fast when you have a baby! We love you Paigebug!

I have to just say that Declan is probably the cutest little boy ever!! I had my camera out a few different times trying to take pictures of him and Paige and when I would say 1-2-3!!! New Years

So on the day of the wedding Paige started getting sick and was whiney all night long. It was so sad. The next morning she woke up feeling even worse so Cole and I took her to the doctor and he pretty much just said she had to get over it on her own.(LAME) So anyways New Years Eve was kinda miserable for me because Paige was sad and sick and she only wanted to be held by me and I couldn't walk away for what felt like 5 seconds without her crying. It was really sad. Sorry to everyone who had to hear her cry all day and most the night :( We went to Grandma and Grandpa Oswald's which was a nice little get away because cousin Kelly helped to occupy Paige a little bit so I could have a few minutes to relax. When Cole and I left their house so we could put Paige to sleep at his parents house Paige would not sleep and just wanted to cry. It was the hardest night ever! We took her for a ride in the truck which usually zonks her out but nothing was working this time.. She finally just layed down in the pack n play and fell asleep I think from exhaustion from all the crying!! This was around 11:15 pm... And guess what she decided it was only a power nap and woke up at 11:45!!AHHH!! Long story short it was a bad long night. We took her to the doctor again on friday because she still wasn't getting better and she had an ear infection and sinus infection.. So now she is finally getting better and is on antibiotics!! Poor girl. I hate it when she is sick!!!

So Sara and Brody got married on December 30!! It was an awesome day to be a part of!! They both looked amazing and the day went really really well. After the ceremony at the temple it was snowing but it was the perfect light snow and it made for some very pretty pictures! My mom was awesome and watched Paige for the first half of the day and then we picked her up to go to the Shelton for pictures and the reception. The whole day was so awesome and Cole and I were so grateful that we got to be apart of it!! Welcome to the family Brody!!! Congratulations to the both of you!! We Love you!

Okay so we had such a fun Christmas this year with Paige!! It was so much fun shopping for her and spoiling her!!! She was so cute on Christmas morning. Cole and I woke up before she did which never happens so we went and opened our gifts from each other. Paige still wasn't awake so we went and woke her up because we were too excited to wait for her! She was so happy to see us and we took her out to her toy from Santa and her face lit up with a huge smile and she went right to playing with it. Santa brought Paige an activity table and she loves it. We also got her some clothes and new bows and a few other little toys. She is such a sweetie. When we were leaving to go into town we were frozen into our garage!!! Crazy I know. But the rubber flap on the bottom of the garage door had frozen to the ground out in front of the house so coleman had to go put hot water on it to make it lift up!!! I didn't even know that could happen. We went to the yearly Christmas morning brunch at Cole's parents house which was DELICIOUS!!! We opened gifts there and then went and spent the afternoon with my family which was way fun. And for one day Paige didn't cry when my dad was around her!! It was so awesome! It was a really great Christmas!!

So last year on Black Friday Coleman decided that he felt like buying this cute little tent and tunnel thing so that our baby could play with it.. Okay so our Halloween wasn't super eventful. The 3 of us spent the day car shopping and didn't have much luck. Paige was in her costume all day long and we had so much fun taking her to see the grandparents and great grandparents! She is growing so fast and learning something new everyday!! It is so scary!! I can't believe that our baby is going to be 8 months old this month!! ahhh!! She has been pulling her self up here and there for a little while but last week she really got the hang of it! Now she can pull her self up onto anything, the coffee table, high chair, next to her carseat, in her crib (lovely : /), rocking chair, couches, recliners! I mean everything!! I haven't really baby proofed the house yet because she wasn't really getting into anything but her toys but NOW she is and I am in for a lot of trouble!!! Paige has also started attempting, but failing, to walk along the couch. SCARY!! I am so not ready for the whole walking thing. But I can't tell her to not walk! HA! Our baby girl is just growing up so fast!! It is a bittersweet feeling. I do have to say she is so much fun and is a really happy baby!! I love it when we hang out with Taylor, Lyndsi and Macie. The girls are so cute together!! Maecie just looks at Paige and busts up laughing! It's awesome! Anyways on to the rest of our lives. Cole has been working like crazy! He is so amazing I just love him so much! Scentsy is going well!! I am really enjoying selling it! Okay so lately I have really been wanting to start selling Scenty. I love their product and I don't know about you but I love having my house smell good! But I can't decide if it is a good idea or not. My real dilemma is that I want family and friends to be willing to buy it but I don't want to be a pushy sales person and make everyone feel uncomfortable around me because i'm going to try and push them into it or something. So I have decided to see what others think about it. If I started selling it would it be something that you would buy from me and if not I want to know that too. 6 months!!!

I can't believe that my baby is six months old already!! It feels like it took forever for her to get here and now the time won't slow down long enough for me to soak in every minute of her love!! Paige has been the happiest baby lately and you can't help but smile everytime she looks at you. She is such a little sweety!She is crawling now and at her six month doctors appointment Dr. Edwards said that she is very petite. She is only in the 7th percentile!! She weighed 13 lb 13 oz. and was 24 1/4 inches long!!! She is constantly moving so we are sure she is just burning those calories as fast as they go in her. She is so much fun!!She is a fast mover so we are always on our feet chasing her around!! She also likes to scream when she talks, especially during church!!It's hilarious but quite embarassing sometimes! Paige is such a little angel and we enjoy spending time with her so much. Oh!! I forgot to mention that she is totally a daddy's girl and loves it when he comes home from work!! Here is some pics!! enjoy!!

I have been such a slacker when it comes to my blog so this may be a long one. I don't blame you if you don't read it :) My mom had surgery in the middle of August and ended up getting really sick and put in the hospital again. It was really really scary and I spent most of my days with Paige at the hospital with my mom. It was so nice that my family helped and we all took shifts staying with her. I'm just glad she is okay. It's seemed like a long time mending but thankfully she is starting to be much more like herself again!! I don't know what I would have done if we would have lost her!! She is my best friend and I hope she knows that I love her with all of my heart! I'm just so glad that she is okay. Oh! and thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for taking care of mom at your house.You have taken such good care of her and I greatly appreciate it! Anyways, we have been really busy and for the past month I haven't even felt like I lived at my house!! In the mean time Paige is still growling like a weed! She is getting so big and I can't even believe that she is almost 6 months old!! She is so much fun and i love her sweet little spirit that she brings into our home. Lately she has really been trying to hard to get around.
She is almost crawling. I bet within the next few weeks she will be!
We have started her on baby food and she loves it!! She finally came around to her rice cereal and she loves squash, sweet potatoes and green beans so far! I'm so glad that she has been good at transitioning into solid baby food!
She does a few little "tricks" we call them.
She likes to roll her tongue.
She makes the sound of a snake (It's so cute)
Love to play with her toys.
Paige rolls all over the place.
She hates to sit still. (When she starts crawling and walking I am going to have my hands full)
She loves to stand up. (with help of course)
She can make anyone smile.
Her laugh is probably the cutest thing on earth!! Like music to my ears.
She just started this new high pitched sqeal thing when she is happy. Everyone thinks it's so cute except for me who has to listen to it all day : )
She loves her daddy!! Her face always lights up when he comes home from work.
I'm sure there is so much more to tell about her but my mind is running blank right now. All I know is that we have such a beautiful fun little baby that is growing up way too fast! Pictures will come soon I promise!

Sick Day

So Sunday evening I got really sick and was throwin up like crazy!! I knew Coleman would take care of me but I just didn't know how amazing he would really be!! He came home from work early on Monday and took Paige into another room so I could try and rest between throwin up. My sickness just got worse from there and my amazing mother came over to help me out. I felt much better when I woke up this morning but I still didn't feel the greatest. Coleman stayed home with me all day long and took care of me. To my amazement he cleaned the kitchen, living room, both bathrooms upstairs and the office!!!! The house is practically spotless!!! When I saw it all I could do was cry because it meant so much to me!!! I love Coleman so much and I want to make sure the whole world knows how amazing he is and how lucky of a girl I am to have him in my life!! He is such an amazing husband and father and he is my best friend!!! I am so blessed. Coleman I love you so much and I am so happy that i get to spend eternity with you and Paige!!! I love you!!!!

Okay so let's see i have lots to blog about again! Lyndsi and I took our girls to Ross Park one Friday and it was so much fun!! Our backs got fried but other than that we had such a blast!! Maec really seemed to like the water but Paige was not havin it. I think it had a lot to do with the wind blowing a little bit so she was cold! We got some really cute pictures of the two girls holding hands too!! Cole and I did get to go to the air show. We left Paige with Grandma Ann for a little while. It's always nice to have alone time with Cole especially since it doesn't happen that often! The airshow was so much fun and we were right on the runway which made it even better! Last week was full of craziness too! Paige had her shots on thursday and she did pretty well. She weighed 12 lbs. 12 oz. and was 24 inches tall. She was in about the 30% percentile for all 3.. I think she is going to be a bit of a shorty like her mama! : ) She actually was pretty happy and did well on the ride to Utah. We had so much fun eating dinner at the Mayan and hanging out with Cole's family. On Friday morning we had to be up early and be to the Salt Lake Temple for Cole's cousins' wedding. It was so awesome Erin looked beautiful and her and Todd make such a cute couple!! We wish them both the best!! On Friday night we went to the Lady Antebellum and Tim Mcgraw concert which was...hmmm AMAZING!! It was full of fun, from getting in fights with people about saving our spots to the end of the show it was just a great time! I am so glad we were able to go!! More than anything it is always nice to be home after a trip away, even a short one!! Enjoy the pics!!

4 months already!!

I cannot believe our little Paige Bug is 4 months old!! It's so crazy!! She is so much fun! She keeps me busy that is for sure! I love staying home with her every day!We don't go to her 4 month check up until July 29 So more pictures will come then as well.

1. Paige loves to jabber and talk your ear off! It's the cutest thing you'll ever hear

2. Scratch that. I think her laugh is probably the cutest thing you will ever hear!

3. She loves to stand up when you hold her

4. The minute Coleman walks into the room Paige's eyes light up. She definitely loves her papa.

5. Cole's new nickname for Paige is Pooh.... I'm not a big fan : )
6. Paige loves her hands she is either chewing on them or pulling your hair.
7. I bought her this cute little play mat that has a few fun things for her to play with and she loves the little frog that hangs in front of her. She loves to chew on it's feet and when you pull on it it plays music.
8. Paige is completely formula fed now...Yay for mommy : )
9. There is a good chance that Paige will be a runner because her legs are constantly moving. It's so cute.
- ( It kinda makes me scared for when she is able to walk though!!)
10. Paige has learned how to blow bubbles and do a motor boat noise with her mouth. It is so funny.
11. She has been sleeping in her crib for about a month now.
12. Paige can roll over from her tummy to her back. Both directions. She can almost roll from her back to her tummy but she gets stuck half way.
- We decided not to take Paige to the parade this year for the 4th because it was too cold but we did go see the fireworks and suprisingly she slept through the whole thing!!
13. Still no teeth yet but she sure is a drooling girl.
14. She loves to pull her dresses up to her mouth and chew on them too.

15. Paige loves to be naked!! And almost naked with her diaper on.

16. She loves to look at herself in the mirror or look at big pictures of herself.

- I am so excited to see how much Paige will weigh when we take her to her app. It seems like she is growing like a weed.

Our little Paige is growing up so fast!! She is definitley eating well because she is getting some rolls and some chubby cheeks! She is so much fun! She fell asleep in the tub the other morning which was HILARIOUS! She usually loves to take baths and when i woke her up and took off her pajamas she was awake and smiling and then out of nowhere she just falls asleep in the tub! It was so cute i made coleman come take some pictures of her! She is such a doll. She has started to rub her eyes a lot when she gets tired and she is still sucking on her fits like crazy! Im super behind on blogging about Paige so sorry for the long wait. I can't believe she is already 2 months old!! Boy how the time flies!! She is getting so big and becoming so much more fun!! I just love playing with her and making her laugh and smile!! She sure loves her daddy and definitley knows when he is home. Paige has discovered her hands and has started sucking and chewing on them which drives me crazy!! But i do have to admit that it is kinda cute :). She has started to drool so much!! I swear i am always wiping it off of her chin and trying to keep her shirts dry. She had her shots on her 2 month birthday and that didn't go as bad as i thought but it was still a rough day. Paige did pretty well she only cried from the initial shock of being poked by the needles and Coleman was able to calm her down pretty quickly but she was fussy and very tired for the rest of the day and most of the next. Poor girl i felt so sad for her. I think it was harder on me than it was on her. She weighed 10 lbs. 2 oz. and measured at 22 1/2 inches long.. She sure is growing that is for sure. She was just talking away at Dr. Edwards it was so cute. She is just so much fun and we love playing with her when she is awake. She loves to talk.

Fun Weekend Getaway!

Last weekend Cole and I decided to head down to Utah just to get away for the weekend. We both really needed it! We packed up our things and our little Paige and were on our way on friday morning. Taylor and Lyndsi were down there too so we spent most of the weekend with them which was a blast!! We did lots of shopping (probably too much) and as usual we laughed A TON!. It is always so much fun hanging out with Taylor, Lyndsi and Maecie!! We also got to go to the Myan for dinner on Saturday night which was a fun time and good food! Lyndsi and I spent lots of money on our girls this weekend! We bought them swimming suits and took them to the pool at our hotel. Maecie was a natural. Paige hated the water at first because it was cold but once she got used to it she LOVED IT!! It was so much fun!! Our girls are growing so fast!! It's crazy.. I need to take more pictures but here are the ones that i did take!

I can't believe how fast 4 weeks has gone by!! Our little Paige changes so much every day. I just love her to pieces. She is a fantastic baby!! Our nights have gotten much better and I have definitely adjusted to being stay at home mom and i LOVE it! Coleman is such an awesome dad! He comes home from work and takes Paige from me and has her as much as he can until it's time for bed! He is always making her smile!! Her smiles are the funnest thing and they make my day everyday. It is so hard to get them on camera though. It's like she knows when i am going to take a picture of her! She definitely has a lot of family that loves to hug and kiss her whenever they are around!! Paige is starting to coo every once in a while which is so fun! She is growing so fast i can't even believe it!!

Our baby girl arrived on Sunday March 21, 2010 at 4:36 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and is 19 1/2 inches long. Coleman and i got to the hospital at 7 a.m. so they could induce me. Dr. Leavitt came in and broke my water at 9:30 and i had her by 4:36 p.m. Labor went really well. It seemed like it took forever but when i think back on it, it wasn't bad at all. I only pushed for a half hour all together. Coleman got the wonderful experience of being able to help deliver her. The umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck 3 TIMES! Which was really scary. And there were many things wrong with her placenta. Dr. Leavitt said that we are very lucky that she came when she did. She is the most perfect little girl and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. She has done really great with nursing and only cries when she is hungry or needs her diaper changed. She is wonderful. Having a child has been the greatest experience of my whole life and it has definitely been an emotional one too. I just feel so blessed that Heavenly Father has given us such a sweet little spirit and that she is healthy and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect little girl. Here are some pics of her. Baby Paige should be arriving any day now! We went to the doctor on Wednesday and they told us that she is 2 weeks behind on her growth but they said she looks very healthy and everything else looks great! I am dilated to 4 cm and I am SOOOO ready to have her here with us already. Cole and I have everything ready and are so excited for her to join our family. Coleman is so cute about it and couldn't be more excited! He is going to be such a great dad. If i haven't had her by Sunday the 21st they will induce me that morning. As of right now i don't feel like much progress has been made so i am just expecting to be induced. Anyways just thought i'd let you all know. Be watching for a new post.. The next one will be all about baby Paige!!!! Yay!!

36 weeks

Our appointment went pretty well this week. Baby Paige is measuring a week behind but they said they are just going to keep monitoring it and we'll go from there. When they checked me this week i was dilated to a 2. I thought that was pretty good news. I know you can stay there for awhile before you progress at all but it just means we are that much closer for her arrival! We can't wait. I am definitely uncomfortable and very excited that we don't have much longer left. So here is her ultrasound picture from this weeks appointment. She was so cramped in there that we couldn't get any good face shots but we did get this fun one of her ear and the side of her head. You can see that she has hair!!! That made me happy! It's amazing how detailed these ultrasound pictures can be. It is so fun to see our baby so often i just can't wait to hold her and to finally meet her. She could be here at anytime now.

So yesterday (sunday) was our one year anniversary!! I can't believe how fast it went!! It seems like just yesterday when we got married! We have had such and awesome year and have had so much fun together! We decided that instead of getting each other something we would go shopping for some new pillows because neither of us were big fans of the ones we had. We went to Sam's club on Saturday and found some really nice ones that we both love! We also found an awesome decoration that we decided would be perfect above our couch. So we decided to treat ourselves to that too! Except for when we took it out to the car to go back to Cole's parents house we discovered that it was too big to fit in the trunk or the back seat! So we had to call Sara to come meet us at Sam's Club with Coleman's truck! Ha. What fun that was chilling by the car. Ann was with us and decided to make good use of her time so she walked over to Albertson's to do some grocery shopping! It worked out well. Although my back was killing me from sitting on bleachers for most of the day so Coleman got in the car and i just stood outside of it!

On the day of our anniversary there wasn't much to do since it was a Sunday. We did get a few things hung up around the house during the day. It was great to just hang out and spend some time together.

I am definitely ready for our baby girl to be here! My heartburn has just gotten worse and there is no more room in my belly for her to move around so she just hurts me when she tries! And i waddle! I am nesting for sure too. I have been panicing to make sure all of the stuff in her room is ready to go. I started packing my hospital bag today. Coleman has been bugging me to get it packed so i guess i will. I have had so much fun getting all of her clothes washed and organized. I just can't wait for her to get here!! Not too much longer : )

On Saturday I went to Karli's cheer competition! It was pretty fun! I love going and watching all of the different routines. Everyone did really well. I was so impressed with Bonneville's performance and how well they did! Karli did awesome at her first competition. She made us proud! They got first place in there division and had an overall awesome score! Congrats girls you all did great! Good luck at state!

Sweet baby girl wasn't as active yesterday during our ultrasound but we still got to see her and that is all that matters. She is growing at a good rate and everything is looking good. I really look forward to seeing her every two weeks now until the baby comes!! It's so exciting and I truely love that Coleman comes to all of the appointments with me. He is so supportive and so awesome i just love him!! Thanks babe. So here are some pics of our baby girl that will be arriving soon! In the third picture you can see her smiling a little bit. That is my favorite picture.

I have definitely been "nesting" lately. I have been washing all of her clothes and blankets and making sure that i have all of the stuff ready for her. I need to have Coleman hang up a few things in her room and then i will post some pictures of it. I love the way its turning out!

February is pretty FULL of events for Cole and I. We have my birthday, Valentines Day, and then our anniversary at the end of the month. My birthday wasn't anything big this year which i was glad because I didn't want it to be. I got a lot of fun things though. I got a few new books which i can't wait to read, some new shoes, a cute sweat suit and some gift cards! So thanks to all the family for the nice gifts. For Valentines Day Coleman brought me some beautiful red roses that i loved and wasn't expecting at all and got me two Willow Tree decorations. It was the perfect gift.

And we have been car shopping for quite some time now and we finally bought a car!! We love it and are so excited to get to drive it more. It's definitely going to take some getting used to since it's such a big step up from my car but I am so excited about it and couldn't be more grateful! Well here it is!! It's a Cadillac CTS.

32 Weeks

We had an ultrasound and a check up yesterday and everything went really well. It was so much fun to see our baby girl again.During the ultrasound she got the hiccups and we were able to watch them for a minute. It was pretty cute. She definitley was moving all over the place and didn't want to hold still for the tech to get many good pictures but we did get a few. The tech said that everything is looking good. She weighs about 4 pounds now and i think she is very cute. Ha. We have another ultrasound in 2 weeks to keep track of her growth and to make sure she is still doing well. She is head down now which i already figured since i constantly feel like i have a foot in my rib. It is nice to know that we are really on the down hill slope. Last Sunday I was having some contractions but they were nothing to be too worried about. I was pretty sure they were going to kill me : )but the doctor said that I need to just keep an eye on them and unless they become regular and closer together I should be fine. I haven't had any since then so i'm sure we will be good for awhile. She has dropped a little which has helped my heartburn (thank goodness) I still have it but its nothing like it was. Coleman and I are getting so excited and we can't wait to have her here with us. Thank you to everyone who came to my baby shower on Saturday! It was so nice to see all of you and we are very grateful for all of the gifts. Once I get her room all organized I will definitley put some pictures on here.

Well here you go. This is the picture of my belly that just keeps growing and growing! I am almost 30 weeks now. YAY!! I am becoming more uncomfortable by the day, not only because i am out of room but because i am carrying her fairly high and it is making it hard to breathe and the heartburn just keeps getting worse. Coleman makes fun of me because he told me that i have started to waddle. I think i only do it late at night though when my back and my feet are killing me. At least i hope thats only when i do it. : ) It's time to start the final count down now. We are getting so excited and i just can't wait to meet her. I think we have officially decided to name her Paige Nikole unless it changes when she gets here but as of now her name is Paige. Her room is coming together slowly but surely. We have all the bedding put on the crib and we bought a dresser that matches quite nicely. The dresser is also going to be used as a changing table so we don't have to buy a seperate one. We have another ultrasound scheduled for February 3 so that we can make sure she is growing at the right rate. By the size of my belly i think she is doing fine. I will post pictures of her when we get them!!

We had a wonderful Christmas and it was so awesome having Zach, Nikky and Declan here to visit. I am kicking myself in the butt for not taking more pictures because i hardly took any. All of the ones i have are of Declan and he is such a little wiggle worm most of them are blurry. So sadly i don't have any pictures of christmas. Part of the reason is probably becuase i feel so huge so pictures not really my thing. But i will have coleman take a picture of my ever growing belly and post it on here soon enough. We are starting the count down until our little sweetheart comes. Only 11 weeks left! I am so excited. Her room is slowly coming together and i am slowly buying more and more things for her. I am afraid she is spoiled already. We have another ultrasound the first week of February and i can't wait to see her again before she gets here. I will post belly pics soon!

Here is the pic of Cole and I looking so awesome!! You can tell i am definately starting to chunk up! Ha. How embarassing! I have been able to feel her move so much more lately and so has Coleman. It is the best feeling in the whole world. It makes the bond between me and her so much stronger every time and i just love it.

Cole, Sara and I went to Wingers for dinner tonight and my friend Emmy was working. They were having a contest between the workers to see who could have the most customers wear antlers while we were waiting for our food. It was so embarassing and Coleman volunteered Sara and I to wear them. Thankfully Emmy brought him some out too so Sara and I weren't the only ones to feel like idiots!!

Zach, Nikky and Declan have finally arrived!! Cole and I were so excited that we were able to meet our adorable little nephew!! He is even cuter in person!! He is such a good baby and he is so happy and smiley. I just love him and it made me so much more excited to have our own baby here!! I can't wait for her to come!! We don't have too much longer left either which is very exciting and kind of nerve racking!

So we have had our crib put together for awhile now i just haven't had a chance to take a picture and take the time to post it!! I love it! It is even better than i excpected it to be! I am so glad we went with this crib! Its amazing! I just bought some bedding today so i can't wait until it gets here so that i can really start decorating her room!

My mom's friend from work gave Me and Cole this huge Christmas tree. We love it but we definately had trouble with the lights! It was supposed to be a pre-lit tree but most of the lights didn't work! But here is the finished product!! We love it and are so grateful it was given to us!

So while we were in utah a little while ago with Taylor and Lyndsi we bought our first baby item! Our stoller and car seat! We didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl yet but it still works for both genders! Anyways, we weren't able to bring it home because it was too big to fit in Taylor and Lyndsi's car. Thankfully Hailey was able to meet us at a gas station and keep it with her until she came for Thanksgiving!! so now that Thanksgiving has come and gone our travel system is here!! I am SO excited! Since then i have bought quite a few baby clothes and a crib that has not yet arrived. I will post pics of that once it comes!! We had such a fun Thanksgiving break with everyone, even though i was sick the whole time and i accidentally passed it on to Coleman too! So here are some pics of our car seat and stroller! Yesterday was a Saturday filled with fun! It was my little sister Karli's birthday!! First we went to the Unique Boutique craft fair which was more for my mom and me and found tons of cute stuff for the baby! We went to Garcias for lunch and then we went bowling. Baby News!!!

So we had our ultrasound today and she told us that we are having a GIRL!!! We are so excited.. The ultrasound tech said that she was growing great and everything looked good! She is about 8 inches long and she weighs about 16 oz. Cole and i are so happy and excited for the journey to come.. I am 21 weeks and the due date is March 28, 2010

Alright.. I have been needing to put a picture of my popping belly on here but i am in denial that it is popping out at all so that is why it has taken me awhile. So here it is.. My 20 week photo. I have been feeling the baby move so much more lately and it is the most amazing feeling in the world. I love it.. We already had an ultra sound from one of Cole's family friends and so we know what we are having but we are waiting until our one next week to post it on here. Even though we are pretty sure we know what we're having. We are so excited and can't wait for the baby to get here!!

Texas!!!

Yup I'm in Dallas, Texas. My mom had a conference to go to so i decided to come with her. We got here yesterday the flight went really good. We will be here until Sunday. This picture is the view that we have outside of our window in our room. Its so much different here than it is in Idaho Falls.. We almost died yesterday on our way to the hotel. The shuttle driver was CRAZY!! When we got off the shuttle my stomach was all tight from being so freaked out that we were going to crash the whole time. During the flight the baby was moving like crazy.. Its the most awesome feeling ever!! I love it and i can't wait until Coleman can feel it too!! Anyways more pics will be coming when i get home!!

Our Spontaneous Trip!

So this past week Hilary won tickets to the Snow Patrol concert and she gave them to us!! I was super sick all last week with sinusitis and we weren't sure if we were going to be able to go but thanks to some antibiotics i was feeling better!! We had lunch with Hilary and Hailey at the Cheesecake Factory which was delicious and we went to the concert later that evening. The Plain White T's were also supposed to perform but their lead singer was sick so they only play 3 songs and were done but Snow Patrol rocked!! It was so much fun and they are great entertainers! We had so much fun. Thanks again Hilary!!

Powder Puff Game

So last week for Bonneville's homecoming week they had there annual powder puff game. Deejay and his friends really enjoyed dressing up as the cheerleaders. The funny thing is, there were more boys on the "varsity cheer team" for the powderpuff game than there are on the real varsity cheer team!! They did pretty good though.

DeeJay does make a pretty good girl though, i must admit. That skirt really showed off his legs ;)

A New Adventure!

Cole and I had our first prenatal visit at the doctor's office this afternoon. We are having a cute little baby.. We don't know what it is yet but i KNOW that it will be ADORABLE! The official due date is April Fools Day! We are so excited (and a little scared). But it is going to be so much fun! Cole is extremely excited to be a dad and of course is hoping for a boy! I am excited to be a mom but scared to death at the very same time and i don't mind what we get as long as the baby is healthy. Anyways when we were having our ultrasound the baby was moving all over the place. It even waved at us a few times! The ultrasound tech told us that the baby has probably been able to move its arms for just a few days. We also got to hear the baby's heartbeat which was extremely fast!! It was the coolest feeling ever and definitely made our hearts beat a little faster as well. In the pictures below you can see the baby's arms, hands, legs and toes.

Extensions!!

So Tuesday i did Kyri's extensions and they turned out fabulous!! She originally had hair just barely to her shoulders and now its long and beautiful!! With the help of my friend Audree we cut, colored, put in the extensions, and blended them in all in about 3 1/2 hours!! Which is awesome timing.. We were all very happy with the results!!

Spencer Camping Trip

So this past weekend Cole and I got the chance to go camping up to Spencer at the Stoddard Creek campground. We took my family and all the fun toys up there too! It was so much fun but it was SOOOO cold!! We went on a ride on Saturday and got rained and hailed on!! It hurt so bad because it was hitting us in the face and we were all soaked. It was fun though! On Sunday we took a ride up to Look Out Point, which was really pretty but also very scary since I'm afraid of heights!! It was a lot of fun though!! Luckily we had warmer weather on Sunday but it was still pretty cold!

Surgery

So Deejay had to have surgery on his knee on Friday!! Poor guy. Awhile back he
was dirt biking in a race at Noise Park and went off a cliff and he broke his
knee cap. It wasn't getting better so he had to have surgery.

They had to remove part of his knee cap that was already unattached

and they had to repair a torn quad muscle too!! Thank goodness

for good doctors!! Get feeling better Deejay!!

Dirtbikin Fun

Okay so a few weeks ago my family (Dad, Deejay and Cole along with some cousins) decided to be in the team race out at Noise Park. The rules were that you could have 3 riders on a team and to qualify each rider had to complete at least 3 laps. Sound easy? I don't think so. Not only were the boys riding in 100 degree weather, the race lasted for 5 HOURS, the laps were each 9 miles long, and in the middle of a desert!!! Yikes! So my brother started the race for their team and about a quarter into the first lap my brother broke 2 master links off of his chain and Coleman and to leave and finish the lap for him. Bikes were breaking down left and right and a lot of riders were getting hurt, including Coleman. He was going about 40 miles an hour when he wrecked and his bike landing right on top of him, dislocating his wrist and really tearing up his whole left side of his body. So now he gets to have a bulky brace on until it starts feeling better!! My dad has always said, " If you aren't crashin, you aren't riding hard enough." That may not be the best motto but i think Coleman was riding pretty hard!! Nice job babe!!

Smith Family Reunion

Every two years my Grandma's family has a family reunion and it is a blast!! Its almost always at Heise. Anyways so me and cole packed up our new little camper and went to camp for 3 days with my crazy family!! We had so much fun. We sung kareoke and swam at the pool and had a pot luck and even got a chance to go riding a little bit before my awesome four wheeler broke down!! It was so much fun though, i forgot how much i love camping! Our camper was awesome and we had my brother, sister and mom sleep in there with us too. And everything but the fridge works! We had hot water and everything it rocked!! It was always really nice to see all of the distant family again and i really look forward to the next reunion in a couple of years!!

Phillip Wilson and my first time Golfing

So last year Phillip Wilson came to AKA and he was able to come back this year too! For most of you who don't know who Phillip is he is one of the best hair dressers in the WORLD. He is ranked right next to Vidal Sassoon. It was so awesome that he was able to come and that i was able to go see him even though i don't go to that school anymore! Phillip created the alternative or free form style of cutting and it is absolutely amazing to watch him work!!

I was even lucky enough to sit by by very very good friend Challis :)

So Saturday Coleman went golfing all morning and then called me that afternoon and told me that he was taking me golfing that night. I was not happy with the idea and fought it but obviously i didn't win my battle! We went with our very awesome friends Kaleb and Adrianne Buck!! They are so fun to hang out with. It was Adrianne's first time golfing in awhile so i didn't feel too bad. I did pretty well though and we had quite a bit of fun besides being eaten alive by mosquitos!!

Our New Purchase

So some of our relatives found this trailer that they thought they might buy but when they told us they weren't interested we decided to look at it just for fun. I went and saw it first and I'm not going to lie i thought it would be a fun project. It was a super good deal and i told Coleman we couldn't pass it up. It is older but its in really good condition. The curtains need replaced and the cushions need covered because they are like 70's flower power! Ha. My grandpa called it GROOVY! ha ha. Anyways we are pretty excited about it and excited to go camping and not have to sleep in a tent. That will definitely be nice! Thanks again Coleman, you really are the best husband EVER!!

My State Board Test

So i left for Boise last Sunday with my grandma, mom, and brother to go take my test on Monday. I was SO nervous i couldn't even handle myself! I felt like i was a complete mess during the whole test and was sure that i didn't pass. What makes everything even worse is that they don't tell you if you passed or failed for a full week!! I have been sick about whether or not i passed and its just been eating at me all week. So today when i got on to see if the results were posted yet and i saw that they were i got sick to my stomach. And then just to make the suspense all that much worse my computer kicked me off the Internet about 3 times so it took me forever to see if i passed or not... but I DID I PASSED MY TEST! So i am officially a cosmetologist!! I finished my 2000 hours at school the day after i took my test! I'm all graduated and it feels amazing. Its awesome to know that i have accomplished this huge goal all by myself! I did it. And every minute and all of the hard work i put in was so worth it. So now my plan is to start working as a stylist at Trade Secret which is in the mall starting July 1st. Thanks for all of the help and support everyone has given me this past year!! I appreciate it so much.

Kimmie's Wedding

Yesterday was my really good friend Kimmie Clawson's wedding. It was so much fun to be a part of it. I did her mom's hair yesterday which ending up looking good. Kimmie looked absolutely beautiful!! Great Job Brittnie on Kimmie's hair and make up she looked fabulous!! Well Kimmie and Brian congrats on the wedding.. Good luck in everthing you both do!! I love ya and welcome to the club!!
